Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn together

A classic thriller.  Set in Paris, with an all-star cast including Cary and Audrey (my all-time favorites), music by the incomparable Henry Mancini - what is not to love? This movie was released in 1963, before I was born, but it is one of my classic faves.
Reggie's husband has been murdered and she finds herself in grave danger as she is pursued by men who are after the fortune that they believe she has.  She falls hard for Peter, played by Cary Grant.  Who can blame her?  But is he on the up and up or is he using her to get to the money? Pass the popcorn and enjoy this timeless gem.

Rid of Me

This movie was released in 2011 and was a Tribecca Film Festival Official Selection.  Great indie vibe and character development. You really root for the main character, very socially awkward, Meris.
She and new hubby move to Oregon, back to his hometown, where his friends are overjoyed to have him back. Meris doesn't fit in at all and finds herself on a course to discover who she is or wants to be.
Warning:  There is one really gross scene in the movie where she exacts some revenge and there is some bad language more toward the end of the movie.  Several twists and turns. This one will keep your interest.

Obama's America 2016

I saw this movie at hubby's request.  It was his birthday, so he picked this one.  I normally don't enjoy anything political but found that this movie held my interest.
I like that the documentary was done by a man of Indian descent.  It gave a lot of insight into Obama's vision and direction.  Very thought provoking - a must see whether you support him or not.
